Fiscal assistance distributed among 442 jobless youth
Vikarabad: District Collector Sayyed Umar Jaleel has distributed financial assistance, granted by various finance corporations, to the tune of Rs 4.32 crore among the 442 unemployed beneficiaries belonging to Vikarabad, Dharur and Nawabpet mandals.
Of the 1370 applications, 1000 have been disposed; he said adding that the rest would be disposed before the close of the current fiscal year. Of the total financial assistance, the subsidy component is 80 per cent, while 20 per cent constituted the bank loan component.
He asked the beneficiaries to utilise the fiscal assistance properly and grow financially and show employment to others.
He also distributed cars and auto rickshaws among some of the beneficiaries.
The Joint Collector advised the unemployed youth to prefer government schemes to jobs. Vikarabad MPP Bhagyalakshmi felt that the financial assistant should be given to true beneficiaries and wanted the youth to put them to good use.
Nawabpet MPP Panduranga Reddy, lead bank Manager Sumalata, District BC Welfare Officer Pushpalata, tribal welfare officer Hanmanta Rao and others were present on the occasion.
