IMI, Delhi, welcomes students for academic year 2018-20

Hyderabad: International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi, one of India’s leading management schools, welcomed the new batch of students to the new academic year 2018-2020 with a four-day long induction programme for various streams. The induction programme was held from June 13 to 16 at the IMI New Delhi campus for new students who have enrolled for the PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-B&FS, and FPM programmes.

The 4-day induction programme included sessions by professors from the institute to familiarise students with the various subjects included in the two-year courses. In all, total of 351 students were part of the induction ceremony at IMI New Delhi. The students were divided into four groups, with multiple sessions for each scheduled over the four days. 

Along with an introduction to academics and areas covered in the various courses, the new batch of students also had the opportunity to hear from some of IMI New Delhi’s distinguished alumni about their experiences at the institution as well as in the industries they are involved in. Students across all four groups were also addressed by the Dean and chairpersons for all four courses in separate sessions.

Speaking on the occasion Prof Pinaki Dasgupta, Dean Academics, IMI-New Delhi said, “It’s that time of the year again when the institute opens its doors to a new batch of aspiring management professionals. We are delighted to welcome the incoming students and look forward to working with them towards not only their academic and professional development but also towards their personal growth over the next two years.”
