Bhavan’s Vivekananda College celebrates Yoga Day

Bhavans” Vivekananda College, Secunderabad celebrated the 4th International Yoga Day (IYD) at the college premises on Thursday. The NCC unit of the college had been conducting practice sessions since June 11 every day which culminated with the finale on International Yoga Day. The program started with yoga prayer. 

The principal of the college, the faculty and around 1000 students participated in the Yoga Day celebrations; Col Shashikant, Y Jadhav Co 2 T Bn was the special guest of the programme.  He encouraged students to enroll intoNCC  and to take  part in  national building. The NCC unit of the college headed by LT Dr V Venu Madhav. ANO 12/2 COY 2 T BN,  played the main role in organising the programme. Prof Y Ashok Principal advised the students to adopt yoga as part of their daily routine to attain physical fitness and mental happiness in life.
