Regional-level social science expo held

Hyderabad: Encouraging school children to be a responsible citizen of the country and instilling social awareness in them, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Uppal, played host to a Regional level Social Science exhibition. From individual competitions like spell bee, creative writing etc to group events such as dance, drama among many others witnessed a participation of over 425 students and teachers from Kendriya Vidyalayas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. 

Promoting international relations and also integrating the patriotic feelings, the theme for the competitions was based on the cultural, social and geographical lives of people in Punjab and Myanmar.  V Gouri, AC, KVR HR was the chief guest for the grand finale of the exhibition. She said that these competitions develop social awareness among students. Principal P Srinivasa Raju said that eminent artists and Nandi award winners were the judges. Later prizes were ditributed to winners.
