Continuing Education Programme for Pharmacy teachers held
Hyderabad: Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy conducted Pharmacy Council of India sponsored Continuing Education Programme for Pharmacy Teachers from various institutions on Monday.
Chief Guest for the inaugural session, Prof Chandrakant Kokate, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation for Pharmacy, Chairman, Expert Panel for approval of FDCs, Ministry of Health, Govt. of India, Former President, Pharmacy Council of India, advised the faculty delegates to be open to learning, nurture students with commitment and self-discipline. He gave several examples of luminaries in teaching such as Dr P J Abdul Kalam, Prof M L Schroff, Prof Madan Mohan Malaviya, Prof Khurana, and Prof Shrivastava etc.
Guest of Honor Dr V Venkateswarlu, Managing Director, Neuheit Pharma advised faculty delegates to be lifelong learners and transfer their knowledge to the students. Zafar Javeed, Honorary Secretary, Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society thanked Pharmacy Council of India for sponsoring such an important event &setting the guidelines& goals of the programme.
The inaugural was followed by guest lecture by Dr V Venkateswarlu & Hari Mohan Paruvu, Writer, Circketer & Motivational Speaker. The programme will be for 3 days with 14 speakers from Pharma Industry, University of Hyderabad, BITS-Pilani Hyderabad, IICT, NIN, NIPER-Hyderabad etc.
