MJCET celebrates Engineer’s Day

Hyderabad: Various departments of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology celebrated Engineer’s Day to commemorate 151st birth anniversary of the legendary engineer Sir M Visvesvaraya. 

Civil Dept organised a guest lecture by Amjad Hussain, Chief Engineer, Irrigation Project, and Govt. of Telangana on “Recent Telangana Irrigation project details” on Saturday.

Information Technology Department organised poster presentation-cum-Theme talk on “Role of Engineers to Empower Society”.  They presented their ideas on various IT services ex. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security students were motivated to be well groomed with professional etiquette, practical knowledge and improvise on attitudinal and communication skills to face the competitive world outside. 

Mechanical department organised Essay writing competition on “Engineer’s Day” and distributed prizes to the winners. Computer Science Dept. organised Expert talk on “Career Guidance” by Tuba Ahmed, Software Engineer, and Service Now and initiated coding sessions for four weekends by CSI.
