Walking 20-minutes a day reduces heart diseases
Hyderabad: Hundreds of people participated in a walkathon organised by Aster Prime Hospitals to commemorate ‘World Heart Day’ on Saturday. The main objective of this walkathon is to spread awareness and sensitise people about the importance of exercise for a healthy heart.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Satish Reddy, MD, Aster Hospitals said, “Today’s walkathon focused on refining the concept of a healthy living in the minds of everyone to ignite enthusiasm for rejuvenating health. With the effects of changing lifestyle and food habits, there is no time for exercise and healthy living. Only having knowledge about heart health is not enough; we also need to incorporate healthy changes in day to day activities to have a healthy heart.”
