Gayatri, one of the committee members of the college told The Hans India, “This year we have decided that the rally would start from Ramalayam Saidabad to SBHB Colony which is approximately a distance of 2 kilometres. Louis Braille’s, born on 4th January 1809 father was a wood toy maker. As a child he always used to imitate his father when at work. One day when his father was not around he started playing with those wood pieces, accidently one of them went into his eyes, which resulted in he becoming blind.
He was only three years when this tragedy struck him. As time passed Louis Braille lost the sight of the other eye as well and became complete blind.
He slowly realized that, his loss of sight was acting as a hindrance to pursue his academic aspirations, therefore he went on to invent the Braille system, which would enable the visually challenged people to read and write. Braille is a unique system where visually challenged people use 6 dots to identify the English alphabets.
When asked about the chief guests in the rally, Gayatri told The Hans India, “Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Sriman Narayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji is likely to attend the rally, in case if he does not come Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ramanuja Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji would lead the rally, along with the committee members of the college.”
She further added, “There will be a comprehensive security arrangements made for the students when they would be walking on the road by the police team and also us. Post rally colorful cultural programme would be hosted by children, followed by the speech of Chief guest and our donors would be felicitated.”
