Self Defence programme held for women conductors

Hakimpet: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation officials organised a special training programme on Self Defense Techniques to lady conductors of the Jeedimetla Bus Depot and those working at the bus depots in Greater Hyderabad and Hyderabad Zones at the Zonal Staff Training College(ZSTC) in Hakimpet, here on Friday.

As a part of the programme, R A Swamy, an instructor at the college demonstrated techniques such as elbow punching, defense elbow positioning etc to 66 women ticket conductors of the TSRTC.

Kamalabai, a bus conductor thanked TSRTC officials for conducting the training classes which it improved their self-confidence levels and instilled the true sense of self-esteem into them.
