Batch of 1968 ‘back’ at All Saints High School

Abids: The 1968 batch students of All Saints High School on Saturday celebrated their Golden Jubilee celebrations here recently. All the students of 1968 batch attended the alumni meet in their school uniform look-alike attire.

Advisor to Government of India and professor of 1968 batch, Peter Haasan said that it felt great to meet his students after 50 years.  The 1968 batch mates, the rector of the school and his teacher contemporaries were present at the meet. He regaled the audience in the typical Hyderabadi language, narrated some lovely Urdu couplets and narrated several instances of those days.

One of the alumni members Varun Kishore said that it really feels awesome to meet all my classmates after a long time. To celebrate 50 years celebrations, we had to start planning from the year 2014 and finally we made it today to celebrate golden jubilee celebrations. He added that many of the batch mates who moved to settle in foreign countries like Canada, US, New York had come all the way to India to attend the alumni meet.
