Mobile phones at cheaper price at ‘Pan Ka Thela’
Hyderabad: In order promote Government of India’s initiative of “Connecting India” campaign, Detel has launched its products in a very unique way on “Pan Ka Thela” as they want to sell their products in every nook and corner of India to make them available in rural areas also at a cheaper price.
Managing Director of Detel Yogesh Bhatia launched the product in city, the product range includes “World Economical Products” feature phone at Rs 349 here on Friday.
As there are more than 40 crore people who are yet to be connected to phones, Detel wants to create more opportunities for people doing small businesses like Ration shop, pan shop, chai wala by creating more income by selling Detel products from their shops.
Speaking on the occasion, Yogesh Bhatia said, “The main aim of Detel is to connect people and as there are many people who do not use mobile as it is not affordable, Detel is providing it at a lowest price especially at Pan Shops.
We have tied up with BSNL to provide connectivity to the consumers at very nominal price.” Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha recently launched this product in Jaipur, he added.
There are 15 models of Detel mobile phones and nearly 30 service centres in Telangana and 300 service centres in Pan India, he said.
