Corporator persuades GHMC officials to stop demolitions

Hafizpet: Builders resorting to unauthorised contructions here have become so bold that they are even questioning the GHMC officials when they visit the sites. These builders are causing a loss to the civic body by their illegal activities. 

Recently the GHMC officials served notices following mushrooming of illegal constructions in Circle 20 of Seri Lingampally. 

Yet the builders did not stop the unauthorised constructions, some of which were pulled down by the GHMC, with the help of the police. This resulted in frayed tempers between the residents and the municipal officials. Local Corporator Hameed Patel visited the spot and persuaded the officials to temporarily stop the demolitions.
