Community hall to be ready by March

Marredpally: The Nehru Nagar community hall at Marredpally would be ready by March end said MLA Sayanna. He inspected several ongoing works in Secunderabad on Thursday.  A multipurpose community hall is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.7 crore at Nehru Nagar but the pace of work is slow.

The MLA inspected development works in Monda market along with corporator Akula Rupa, GHMC and HMWSSB officials. During his visit to Shivaji Nagar near Secunderabad Railway station he instructed the Water Board officials to speed up drainage works.

The drainage problem in Subramanyaswamy temple lane would be resolved as works are in progress at an estimated cost of Rs 96 lakh said Sayanna.

GHMC Zonal commissioner Shakaraiah, deputy commissioner Shailja, HMWSSB general manager Sudarshan, executive engineer  Suresh, local leaders TN Srinivas, Pitla Nagesh, Santhosh and Sandeep too were part of the inspection.
