Apollo launches clinic for lung problems

Jubilee Hills: The Apollo Group of Hospitals launched Apollo ILD Clinic, a specialty clinic to address 130 lung disorders also called Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).
The state-of-the-art clinic will help tackle instances of the rise in lung diseases across the twin cities, largely because of air pollution and passive smoking.

In order to spread awareness, staff and volunteers attached to the clinic will conduct special drives cautioning the people on the health hazards that are easily avoidable.
Chevella Lok Sabha member Konda Vishweshwar Reddy inaugurated the clinic.

Senior doctors at Apollo Hospitals, including Dr Ravindra Babu, Dr KMK Reddy, Dr Y Ganesh, Dr Sai Praveen Harnath, Dr Ch Vijay Kumar and Dr Narsimhan (from Chennai) were present on the occasion.
