Job fair for retired defence personnel

Hakimpet: A job fair for retired and retiring defence personnel of all three-armed forces was held at Air Force station here on Saturday. 

The event was conducted under the aegis of Directorate General of Resettlement, New Delhi with an aim to help defense personnel seeking resettlement. Major General Jagatbir Singh, Directorate General of resettlement inaugurated the fair. 

The response to the job fair was overwhelming said officials concerned. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has conducted such nine job fairs so far. In a recently held event at Air Force Station Vadsar and Mumbai Garrison Grounds, 50 firms from the corporate sector and around 1200 ex-servicemen enthusiastically participated in the event.
