Bowenpally: Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, the five-rupee meal provider in the twin cities started Akshaya Alpahar (breakfast in government schools) programme at Chandra Kala Goel Government Girls High School, Bowenpally on Monday.

Since the government school children come to school from home without taking any food and it is very difficult to them to wait till the lunch break ,Hare Krishna Movement  took this initiative to provide breakfast items like 'Idly or upma' with sambar  or 'Puri' with curry to the school children. This helps the children to be energetic during the class hours and they can put their focus on lessons.

The breakfast programme in this school is benefiting 300 school children. School management, staff and Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad representatives participated in the event. School management appreciated the initiative taken by HKM and all the other service activities like Akshaya Patra(Mid day Meals), Annapurna (5-Rupee Meal program), Bhojanamrita(Hospital feeding) and Saddimuta( Lunch program at Market yards).
