New attractions at zoo

Bahadurpura: A pair each of Lion tailed Macaque and Hanuman Langoor were released in the newly constructed day kraal at the Nehru zoological park (NZP) by Dr Manoranjan Bhanja, PCCF (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden, Telangana State on Monday. 

He along with other senior officials of the department toured the zoo and suggested measures to improve animal enclosures, lawns and gardens. Dr Sidhanand Kukrety, director, NZP, Shivani Dogra, curator of the park, Syed Maqsood Mohiuddin, M Laxman, Asst Curator – I, NZP, Anita, Dy. Range Officer, and H M Hanifulla, PRO, NZP were present on the occasion.
