Gurukul English Medium School achieves 100% excellence
Batasingaram: Backward Classes Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna, MBC Corporation Chairman Taduri Srinivas and local Commisssioner Anita Rajendra attended as guests at the cent per cent excellence programme at Gurukul English Medium School here recently.

The guests presented tabs and medals to meritorious NIIT and IIT students. Among those present at the function were Additional Secretary Saida, Secretary Mallayya Bhatt, MBC CEO Alok Kumar, MBC leaders Gaddam Sai Kiran, Sravan, teachers and students.
Addressing the function, Srinivas assured the school students that the State government would back those belonging to poor families if they do well in studies. He said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was giving a boost to government schools enabling them to compete with private institutions.
‘The government has created history by launching 119 English-medium Gurukul residential schools on a single day. The CM desires that students should achieve all-round development. He advised the teachers to strive to make this a reality.’
Srinivas announced that 119 more English-medium Gurukul residential schools were likely to be started next year. He thanked CM KCR for striving to provide quality education to students, while lauding the government for implementing schemes intended to better the lot of BCs and MBCs.
