Republic Day celebrated at airport

Hyderabad: The 69th Republic Day of India was celebrated at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport with great patriotic zeal and fanfare. 

On this occasion, S G K Kishore, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) hoisted the national flag, which was followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. S G K Kishore received a Guard of Honour from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), GMR RAXA and GMR Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) teams.

The CISF unit of RGIA displayed their skills by performing various mock drills. This included an interesting presentation by CISF Dog squad. CISF Female Quick Response Team (QRT) showcased their weapon handling capabilities by operating AK 47, INSAS rifles and pistols while blindfolded.
