United we stand, divided we fall

 Nacharam: Local Corporator Shanti Saizen Shekhar celebrated 69th Republic Day with the residents of Indira Nagar on Friday. People from all the communities like Hindu, Muslim and Christian were seen together on the occasion. 

To make their unity more prominent, a pastor from church dressed up in white, a muslim man dressed up in green and a Hindu dressed up in saffron color and all of them stood together to pose for a photograph. Shanti Saizen Shekhar told The Hans India, “We are all Indians first and then we have our religions. So, we have all gathered here to celebrate the occasion.”
