Surprise checks by Legal Metrology dept

Kushaiguda: Medchal district legal Metrology department staff, led by officer Karunakar Reddy on Sunday conducted surprise checks on several mutton and chicken shops in Kapra circle. 

In H B Colony, Moulali, they found a shopkeeper resorting to irregularities giving 200 gm less for one kilogram and registered a case against him. They also registered cases against several small traders selling fish on footpath in Chakrapuri and seized their weighing machines.
