Fire breaks out at Rasoolpura

Rasoolpura: A major fire gutted Usha godowns at Rasoolpura here on Wednesday. There are close to 50 companies functioning in the godowns. Material worth Rs 10m lakh was burnt at a tent house.

The fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday. People noticed smoke bellowing from the godowns and raised an alarm. By the time the fire department arrived, the material was burnt. 

It took almost 20 minuites for the fire department staff to control the fire.
There are several showrooms, shops and godowns in the area that have not obtained trade licence and NOC from the fire department.
