Now, rent a bike at Miyapur metro station

Miyapur: Addressing the last mile connectivity issue, the Hyderabad Metro Rail and L&THMRL launched the ‘Rent a bike’ scheme here on Wednesday. Passengers have an option of renting a vehcile from the station for as low as Rs 4 per km by producing their drivers licence and Aadhaar card.

To start with 20 bikes of different make, gear and without gear are on offer. People need not fill fuel. N V S Reddy, Managing Director, HMR said that the facility would be extended to other metro stations soon. Presently, the facility is available only at Miyapur metro station. 

Passengers can get down at the station, rent a bike and return it. Both bicycles as well as bikes would be available.  The bikes would be tracked through GPS.
