Orientation programme for women held

LB Nagar: Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Rachakonda Police has organised one-day training programme for around 45 women leaders from IT Industries at TCS Adibatla, for ‘Marghdarshak’ team who are already operating within different organisations and IT hubs of Madhapur.

The objective behind setting up this programme is to ensure that every woman who comes to work in the organisation should not be under stress both at work and as well as in the office. The members of Margdarshak team are women, so that other women who come in to share their problem should be comfortable” added Bharani Kumar Aroll

These 45 women representatives were selected by their respective companies from TCS, Infosys, Genpact, Metro Rail, NSL and Cyient. 

Bharani Kumar Aroll, General Secretary for Society for Cyberabad Security told The Hans India, “There are close to 200 members working for Marghdarshan programme that work with the Rachakonda police team.”

The women selected for the team are strong. They were carefully selected so that they can handle the affected women who approach them for help. After listening to the problem, the unit members suggest them accordingly whether they should approach police or other measures which they can resort to get out of the problem.

The problem could be anything starting from problems at home to harassment at workplace. However, when any woman who comes to seek help, the members ensure that the identity of the women are kept secret.

The orientation programme started at 10 am and concluded at 6 pm. Along with Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Mahesh M Bhagwat, Salima Shaik, Additional DCP of SHE team Rachakonda, also addressed the participants in the programme and guided them on various skills needed for handling the affected women who approach them for help.
