Traffic jams at Rein Bazaar; road repair at a slow pace

 Rein Bazaar: Traffic jams at Rein Bazaar have now become a regular feature as the road repairs have been going on for over a month. With work being stopped for a few days, the work is getting prolonged.

 People have no place to park vehicles in front of a private maternity hospital resulting in traffic snarls. “What used to take 10 minutes now takes 30 minutes to just pass a few metres,’ says a resident Rahmat Ali.

Drainage water clogs the road and potholes get filled with water. People have been complaining about the delay in works. Sardar, a salesman says, “The contractor is never seen. There are three schools in the area and there is a lot of traffic during school hours.”
