Cop patrols on cycle

Falaknuma: In what can be termed as a first, the additional CI of Chatrinaka in Falaknuma division Syed Abdul Khader Jeelani took to a bicycle and patrolled the area. 

People who knew him soon stopped and spoke to him for a while. “I wanted to have a first hand look and there is no better way than going on a patrol on a bicycle,” he said.

Rashid, a resident said that he has set an example for constables to follow suit. It is a good sign and one hopes that others in the police department take a cue.

Many locals who were returning from functions were surprised to see him on a bicycle and appreciated his gesture.
