Demand for regular e-employment

Rajendranagar: Employees of Prof Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University have been demanding for making their employment regular in the university.

They have been giving representations to various politicians and officials for quite some time. Mostly belonging to BC communities, they recently requested the BC leaders from different political parties to visit the varsity to take stock of the situation of employment.

Public representatives visited the varsity and met the Vice Chancellor and assured that justice would be done to the backward communities. Contract and Out Sourcing employees have demanded that their services be made regular in the university.

TSPSC has released a job notification to fill 109 JACTs and contract employees demanded that they be allocated seats among those. Time Scale Employees Association President, A Narsimha said that employees were working in the varsity for long and longing for regularization of their employment there.

He said that BCs are especially singled out in the university and they must be provided 50 per cent employment in proportion to their population in the state.
