Cops rewarded for saving a life

Bahadurpura: Bahadurpura Traffic police Chandan Singh and Inatyatullah Khan Qadri were given a cash award by Jt CP Traffic Ravinder for saving the life of a resident of Jahanuma.

The policemen were on duty on Wednesday when they saw a person fall down near Puranapul darwaza. They did Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and shifted him to a hospital. The doctors informed that the person could be saved due to the timely CPR done by the policemen.

The policemen were given a cash award of Rs 5000 each. They said that more than the cash award they were delighted to have saved a person’s life.
