Silk and Cotton Expo Exhibition on till Feb 18

Hyderabad: Silk & Cotton Expo Exhibition cum sale was inaugurated by Tollywood actress Harika Innamuri at T T D Kalyana Mandapam, near Liberty X Roads, Himayath Nagar, Hyderabad recently.

On the occasion, she wore a few pure silk and cotton sarees and displayed the designs. Speaking on the occasion, she said it is very good expo and beautiful collection of designer clothes were available here.

The exhibition organiser Md Akbar Ali said the expo was featuring original handmade products of silk and cotton textiles. More than 80 designers and masterweavers used their creativity and skills to create exquisite handlooms that is fashioned into high end apparels and home furnishings for city fashion lovers,” he added.

The exhibition showcases different types of Uppada Sarees, Chandra Silk Sarees, Kalamkari, Venkatagiri, Pochampally Silk sarees, Rajasthan Cotton sarees, Hand block print sarees, Bhagalpur Silk, Bengal Cotton, Kashmir Silk sarees, Lucknow Chikan sarees, Banaras sarees, Kanta Work sarees, Designer Suites, Designer blouses, Designer tops, 

Jaipur bedsheets, Jaipur black bangles, stone jewellery, one-gram gold jewellery, Kondapalli toys etc. The exhibition cum Sale will be open to public from February 2 to 18 between 10 am and 8.30pm.
