Hit-and-run case: Cop comes to the rescue of 6-yr-old

Cyberabad: Few days back two traffic cops of Hyderabad saved a person’s life who fell down on the road while traveling on his two- wheeler after a cardiac problem by giving him Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. In yet another incident Cyberabad cops immediately acted and shifted a six-  year- old boy to the hospital in time and assured his parentsthat they would bear the bill.

Last Friday, seven year old boy Sai Kumar was crossing the road along with his parents near Budwel Railway Station. Meanwhile a speeding car hit him down and fled away from the spot, which is yet to be identified. The boy received serious injuries, and the worried parents of the boy were waiting for an ambulance.

Speaking to the Hans India  M Mahesh, Circle Inspector, RGIA police station, Cyberabad said " I  was passing by and noticed the incident,. 

Immediately  I acted and took the boy into my  hands and shifted the boy to local hospital in patrol vehicle and when I  reached the Hospital  he was not waiting for an stretcher the cop carried the boy in his hands to the emergency ward, parents of the injured boy was not in position to bear the bill, noticing it Mahesh assured the parents that he will take care of the bill and told the doctors to provide better treatment to the boy. 

The parents of the boy thanked the cop for shifting the boy to the hospital in time .
His leg got dislocated and now his discharged from the hospital .  The treatment cost around Rs 25000. The senior officials of the department have appreciated Mahesh for his good work.
