Keesara decks up for Brahmotsavam
Kapra: All arrangements are being made to celebrate Brahmotsavam that will be held from February 11 to 16 at Keesara temple, near Hyderabad, and also Sivaratri on a grand scale. As lakhs of devotees will throng the temple for Sivaratri, all arrangements are being made to rule out inconvenience to them.
The Lord Anjaneya state at the main doorway to the temple has been given a fresh coat of paint. Medchal District Collector MV Reddy reviewed the arrangements twice with officials and ordered that all arrangements should be in place by Tuesday.
Consequently, the pace of execution of works also picked up. A queue like has been provided to enable devotees enter the temple through the north gate. Pandals have been erected in and around the temple to enable the devotees to take rest. Works related to provision of toilets and parking facilities are going on.
Temple trust committee chairman Tatakam Ramesh Sarma said that facilities have been provided to enable four persons to have darshan of the deity simultaneously.
