GITAMITE in Republic Day Parade

Hyderabad: ‘The first duty of the students was not to treat their period of study as an opportunity for intellectual luxury, but to prepare themselves for final dedication in the service of society’ by quoting Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi GITAM Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. N. Siva Prasad said. He appreciated and congratulated Singireddy Venkat Sai Reddy, for representing the GITAM in the prestigious NSS Republic Day Parade Camp – 2018.

Venkat Sai hailing from Nakerakal of Nalgonda District, a National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteer from GITAM (Deemed to be University) Hyderabad was selected and participated in the NSS Republic Day Parade on 26th January  at New Delhi. 

It is noteworthy to mention that he is the one among three boys selected from the Telangana region and took part in the Parade. After finishing the Parade, he met  President of India, Vice-President and Prime Minister as a NSS volunteer. 

GITAM Resident Director DVVSR Varma, School of Technology Principal Prof. Ch.Sanjay, NSS Coordinators Dr. P.V.Nagendra Kumar, Dr. P.Vasudeva Naidu, HoDs of various engineering departments also congratulated Venkat Sai on his achievement.
