Madhapur: Life has been a roller coaster ride for young and unique talent, but Hyderabad welcomes one such unique talent of chocolate making and history repeats it’s a girl again, who has made it on her own, to tough world of chocolate business where established brand.
The city based 26-year -old Sree Neeraja, Chocofolks have emerged as a richly flavored team of chocolatiers with innovative mixtures in deep cocoa blends. She started her ambition in Rajahmundry and now she has brought her brand to Hyderabad.
Speaking her passion Neeraja said," I learnt the skill nine years ago; my grandmother inspired me for this. I never thought this could be a business but then people started loving my chocolate flavors.
chocofolks chocolate is something different, when we compare to other homemade chocolates here you can find different varieties like wine chocolate, rum chocolate, salted chocolate, mint chocolate, chilli chocolate, mixed fruit chocolate, orange chocolate, brown, dark n white but the innovation comes in the fillings where we use special fruit fillings, truffles, dry fruits, sugar free, oreo dips and hazelnut fills.
“The art of making chocolate is pleasure to me; I always come up with new concepts and chocolate experiment. I never felt tried; it’s a kind of self relaxation exercise for me. I can make 40 to 60 chocolates in an hour.”
Every day 50 to 60 people buy chocolates from me and I take bulk orders too. Recently I have started making chocolate with jaggery, which is on demand most of my customer prefer jaggery chocolate.
Specialty of chocofolks is mostly sugar free as the chocolate beans are hand chosen and each chocolate is handmade.
"For valentine’s day, we also make customized chocolate, like if a boyfriend wants his girl friend name to be written on the chocolate or some special message.”
