Farm varsity student selected to display paintings in Tirupati

Rajendranagar: A third year BSc CABM student Jagilinki Chandrashekar of the College of Agriculture, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State  Agricultural University, has been selected to present his paintings at the National Agri-unifest 2018 to be held in Tirupati from February 12 to 16.  

His water colour paintings on several issues plaguing society have a message to covey to the viewer. They include the portraits of national leaders, on the varsity surroundings, on nature, the Bathukamma festival. His specialty is paint with bright colours reflecting the surroundings and pencil paintings.

Chandrashekar’s senior Raju and varsity photographer-cum-artist Srinivas have cooperated with him in giving a clear shape to the masterly paintings.During a two-day display of his paintings in the varsity Dean of Student Affairs Dr Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Associate Dean Dr. Jella Satyanarayana, OSA Dr Samuel, visited and praised the work of Chandrashekar.
