Arrangements in place ahead of Rouhani’s visit

Charminar: Prior to the visit of President of Iran Dr Hassan Rouhani to city and his visit to Mecca Masjid, city police officials made elaborate security arrangements in Old City. Commissioner of Police V V Srinivas along with other officials inspected the arrangements at the mosque near Charminar where Rouhani is scheduled to visit. 

He would be delivering the Friday sermon at the Mecca Mosque. It is for the first time that any Irani President is delivering sermon from the Mecca Masjid. Bomb squad and other security personnel made the security arrangements in the mosque premises and nearby area. There will be traffic restriction on Friday as part of the visit of Hassan Rouhani for some hours.
