Mahaan Keertan Darbar programme at Keyes High School, Secunderabad

Hyderabad: The Khalsa Seva Dal in coordination with Prabhandak Committee Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad and others will organise a two day ''Mahaan Keertan Darbar'' at Keyes High School, Secunderabad on February 17 and 18. The mass congregation is dedicated to 351st birth anniversary of tenth and last Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singhji founder of Khalsa Panth.

Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad, President, S Baldev Singh Bagga along with Secretary, Autar Singh Khandooja, Khalsa Seva Dal President, Surinderpal Singh, members Rajender Singh Thakral and Gurmeet Singh Makhija said that renowned Ragi Jathas (prominet Sikh preachers) from different parts of the country have been invited to recite Gurubani Keertans (religious hymns) and Kathas (sermons) and throw light on the teachings of Sikh Gurus on Saturday and Sunday.

Surinderpal Singh said that Mahaan Keertan Darbar (mass congregation) on February 17 (Saturday) will start from 7.30 pm to 11 pm and another mass congregation will be held on February 18 from 11 AM to 3.30 pm. at Keyes High School, Secunderabad.

Prominent Ragi Jathas (preachers) Bhai Chamanjit Singh Lal (New Delhi), Bhai Inderjit SIngh Khalsa, Hazuri Ragi, Darbar Sahib, Gold Temple, Amritsar, Bhai Satvinder Singh, Bhai Harvinder Singh of Delhi and Giani Jagdev Singhji, Head Granthi, GSS Secunderabad  will render Gurbani keertans and Gurbani Vichar during the two days programme. During the two days programmes, Guru ka Langar, tea and snacks will be served to the devotees irrespective of caste and creed. 

He said that nearly 15,000 Sikh devotees and others from across Telangana state and twin cities would participate in the mass congregation.
