Plays on benefits of segregating garbage

L B Nagar: At the ‘Chetta Vidakula Dinotsavam’ celebrations organised on Wednesday at Sumangali Garden Function Hall here attended by Deputy Commissioner K J Vijaya Krishna, AMHO Dr K Mallikarjun, PO Ranga Rao, a play with the slogan ‘kutumbalanu kalupudam thadi-podi chettanu veru cheddam’ was staged by the Swachh dhootas. 

The plays highlighted the advantages of segregating garbage.  During the other play  the DC and AMHO appealed to the Swachh dhootas to achieve 100 per cent coverage of houses in the L B Nagar circle in the context of the Swachh Survekshan-2018 on February 19. The officials presented radium jackets, masks and gloves to the Swachh auto drivers and helpers. 

A ‘Chetta Vidakula Dinotsavam’ rally was taken out on the Karmanghat main road. Addressing the participants, the DC and AMHO advised the Swachh dhootas to achieve 100 per cent coverage of houses in garbage segregation in the L B Nagar circle.
