Review meeting on allotment of funds

Serilingampally: The State government will create all required facilities for extending quality free health care to the poor, said local Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav  here on Friday. 

Addressing a review meeting on allotment of funds to Lingampally health centre and incurring expenditure, he directed officials to arrange water and power supply, rest rooms for the benefit of patients and their attendants in view of the ensuing summer season. 

Nagender called for provision of lab test facilities, purchase of Hepatitis B kits and arranging of a TV set for the convenience of women coming to the centre for deliveries, He assured that the height of the health centre’s compound wall would be increased and a fence provided.

The meeting, attended by Addditional District Health Officer Dr Swarajya Lakshmi and doctors of PHC, resolved to construct an additional building for the centre. When informed that the PHC lacked a computer, the corporator assured to arrange one. He suggested that the PHC facilities should be improved to match those being extended by corporate hospitals.

Among those present at the meeting were Dr Ram Reddy, CHO Balraj, senior assistant K Ashok, Hospital Development Society Members Krishna, Rajini, Ramadevi, Ward Members Srikala, Kavitha, Rambabu.
