Islah-e-Mashra held at Vattepally

Vattepally:  Eminent scholars and social activists addressed the gathering a Islah e Mashra (social reforms) programme organized at Vattepally on Sunday. The programme was organised to educate people on making marriages easy and dowry free. 

Ayyub Pahelwan attended the event and appealed the masses to make the marriages simple in order to save money, resources and time for any constructive work. 

He said that Islamic Sharia demands all the followers to practice simplicity. Noted social reformer Aleem Khan Falaki, on this occasion said that people were getting carried away by the show off by some rich people. 

He opined that it would be better to follow the positive and constructive deeds of others instead of blindly following the marriage rituals. He said that poor cannot afford to spend lot of money and want of lavish marriage ceremonies leading to social evils in the society.
