Shivaji Jayanthi celebrated with pomp

Marking the birth anniversary of the valiant Indian king Chhatrapati Shivaji on Monday, local leaders, politicians and civilians paid homage to his statues and images across Secunderabad

Qutbullapur: A grand celebration of Shivaji Jayanti was organised in Jagadgirigutta, here on Monday. As a part of the festivities, a 6 feet tall statue of the Indian ruler was instated by Sri Paripoornananda Swamy. The sage recollected the wise words of Chhatrapati Shivaji and said that it was the reflection of humanity in him which should be adopted by everyone. Song’s, dance and drama performance enthralled the audiences.
