As she recollects: ‘My journey in Hyderabad was very hectic because first two years it took me time to prove myself.

Also, I was very busy with my job and couldn’t give time to myself and just started feeling that I will spend my life for 2 years and then I should do what I like and should give time to myself. And everything was new for me but that spark was still missing in me then I thought I should start doing what I like so that I can divert my mind as I was going through some personal problems’.

Adding further, Sindhu says: ‘One of my friends suggested to me that you can try making miniatures and it would work. I started making them and I did not know how it was until people started placing orders for my work.

My first order made me feel that I can make my parents proud though I thought that I would never get an order because I was just a normal artist, as it was first order I was really excited not for money but my work what I’m doing is been liked by people it is reaching them I think that is my happiness.

‘I take out time for making this because as I work and go office I do not get much time, but it is a regular base for me to make them this is how I destress myself which is now slowly turning into addiction.

Also, I need little exposure for which I will have to start making more miniatures so that people start recognising my work more. Interest is the main thing which made me keep up my standard. And without interest I would have never be an artist. I’m proud of what I do and will always continue doing it. Also, if I get a chance will make more people aware of the miniatures’ says, Sindhu.

Letting this reporter into her little creative secret, Sindhu says:  ‘I make this miniature toy which is made of clay it is a special kind of clay. After that I add the polish which makes it look more astounding. I make things whatever comes in my mind like I make pizza, burger, ice creams etc.

I started making them from past two months before that I used to paint and only paint. I got to know about the miniatures concept is through a random video which showed how extremely well they make this thing, but I never knew that I can do something like this’ she adds.

Mentioning about her interests, Sindhu informs that ‘I was always interested in painting especially Madhubani painting. But now my interest in miniature is permanent because they make me feel happy and satisfied. And my day does not end without making one little thing of it. My inspiration is my dad’ a smiling Sindhu concludes.
