TRS Rajya Sabha seat to Yadava student of OU sought

Osmania University:  Gowda Students’ Union has appealed to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to give Rajya Sabha membership, promised by him to Yadavas, to a OU Yadava student.

In a release on Sunday, students’ union president  Budiga Saidulu Gowd said that OU represents the whole state of Telangana and hence accord RS membership to an efficient and eligible person among the OU students. He sought Rajya Sabha seat to Dr Parthasarathy Yadav who played a crucial role in the second phase of the Telangana agitation.
 
Dr Parthasarathy obtained his Ph D in public administration and currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow at the OU. He said that the student would protect the interests of the state in Rajya Sabha. Moreover, his choice would be acceptable to the whole Yadava community.
