Meeting held for MRSS and GRSS members

Gajwel: Members of Mandal Rythu Samanvaya Samithi (MRSS) and convenors of Grama Rythu Samanvaya Samithi (GRSS) should work selflessly and dedicatedly for the welfare of the farmers with the coordination of Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Extention Officers, VROs and agronomists in their area, said Gajwel Area Development Authority (GADA) Officer on Special Duty (OSD) M Hanumantha Rao here on Wednesday. 

Speaking at the meeting with members of MRSS and GRSS and Revenue and Agriculture officials regarding purification of land records held at MPDO at Gajwel, GADA OSD said the representatives of the farmers coordinating committees in the mandal should help the farmers in all aspects in terms of providing Minimum Support Price, guidance on crop cultivation and protecting their agricultural produce.

OSD Hamumntha Rao said that the revenue officials should work on a war footing for the updating of land records and submit the latest data of deceased farmers and the mutation of land records on to their immediate heirs in every village within the stipulated time to avoid the errors and mistakes in the upcoming new patta passbooks. Conveners of the RSS should help the officials in this matter, he said. 

Rythu Samnvaya Samithis are formed with the main intention of empowerment and welfare of the farmers by coordinating them with unity to avoid trauma faced by farmers with insufficient yields, lack of MSP and unguided crop cultivation and damage etc., said the GADA Officer. 

Members and Convenors of RSS should fulfill the ambitions of the state government by solving farmers’ problems without giving chance to any malpractice in their sincerity. The conveners of  GRSS were also assigned to collect the missing data of Aadhaar and Mobile numbers of the farmers in their villagers. Gajwel mandal Tahsildar, AO Praveen Kumar and AEO and marketing officials and other officials were present at the meeting.
