Gymnastics girl qualifies for Commonwealth Games

Uppuguda: 19-year-old Meghana Reddy made Telangana proud and India as she qualified in Rhythmic gymnastics in this year Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast in Australia.  
Inspired by common wealth game which was held in 2010, New Delhi, Meghana impressed when she saw the game, started working hard on it. As young kid she got attached to game however they were no faculty for rhythmic gymnastics in city.  

Meghana student of Chirec International School and athlete after lots of practice finally qualified for 2018 Common Wealth Games, family express their happiness and hope that their daughter Meghana Reddy brings medal to India.

Ramalinga Reddy, father of Meghana Reddy, speaking to Hans India newspaper said, "I am proud of her, it has taken eight years of training to go there, and also efforts and training in international standard helped my daughter. Our focus was to make my daughter an international athlete, so we started her training in US, London, Russia after that in India and right now she is undergoing training with latest Rio Olympian, so that she can learn latest technical skills." 
  
"We are looking forward for her success and show the world that India is having talent in these games also. Three years ago, she won the gold in Kerala National games and won couple of international events too, he added.
