In tune with the changing climatic conditions, residents of the town have to change their life style. Therefore, they have started using air-conditioners and other alternatives as the Mercury raises.
They are seen flocking to tank bunds, summer resorts on the town’s outskirts and water parks to beat the heat. The senior citizens are apprehensive of setting their foot out of homes fearing sunstroke.
Sellers of cooling glasses, umbrellas, sugar cane juice, cool drinks, ice-creams, butter milk, water melons, hand fans and other seasonal goods are making a brisk business.
