Ncc ‘C’ certificate exam conducted
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate of National Cadet corps (NCC) has conducted the practical and written examination for ‘C’ Certificate Examination on March 3 and 4 in all nine groups of AP and TS at 15 centres.
A total of 10,965 cadets consisting of Army, Navy Air Force and Remount & Veterinary Wings appeared in the test. The cadets appeared the test include both girls of Senior Wing (SW) and boys of Senior Division (SD) Wing.
The cadets who appeared for the certificate examination are in their third (final) year of NCC training. All these cadets have been imparted training for three years on subjects such as Drill, Weapon Training, Map Reading, Communication, Health and Hygiene, First Aid etc, to ensure overall development of cadets and make them responsible citizens of the Country.
After clearing the ‘C’ Certificate examination, the cadets will become eligible for Special (NCC) Entry scheme for becoming officer in the Armed Forces. They will also be eligible to recruitment into army without written examination and direct recruitment in police department.
The Deputy Director General (DDG), NCC, Air Commodore N N Reddy went around the examination centres of Secunderabad and Hyderabad groups to check the conduct of exams as well as to increase the morale of the cadets. Director and other Central Observers also visited all other examination centres to oversee the overall free and fair conduct of the examination.
