TDP leader’s padayatra enters fifth day

L B Nagar: On the fifth day of the padayatra in Mansoorabad division as part of the ‘intintiki Telugu Desam on Monday, Ranga Reddy district TDP president Sama Ranga Reddy demanded a permanent solution to the flow of flood water into Saraswartinagar Colony as linking the drains and other short-term measures would not help, He questioned as to why a Kurama Sangham building constructed with GHMC subsidy was given on rent to Sloka School. Reddy demanded reservations for the poor students in the school.

The TDP leader criticised the State government for allowing the Pedda Cheruvu to become a dumping yard after spending Rs.1.5 crore for its beautification. He wanted immediate steps to revive it so as to be of public use.

Reddy went round Saraswati Colony, Highway Colony, Sri Saraswati Colony. Madhuranagar, Bhavaninagar, Sriramnagar, Srirama Hills, Hakimabad,  Mallikarjunnagar, Balajinagar, Ragala Enclave, Padmavatinagar, Pragatinagar, Sainath Colony, Ganeshnagar, Sriraghavendranagar, 

Among those who accompanied Reddy were former Corporator Prabhakar Reddy, TDP division president Nampally Rameshwar, Yamjal Jagan, Nampally Mahender, Anand, Nampally Srikanth, Srikanth Yadav, Naresh Yadav, Govind , Venkat, TNSF division president Akhil Yadav, Sai Chandar, Ashok Kumar, Krishnam Raju, Ravishankar, were present.
