Meeting for Pulse Polio programme held

Medak: In order to eradicate polio disease, and to transform the country into polio-free, Medak district Joint Collector Nagesh held meeting on Thursday at the Collectorate here for the implementation of the second tranche of ‘pulse polio program’ on Sunday. 

In the meeting conducted by District Task Force (DTF), The JC ordered the officials to take the necessary steps for the administration of polio vaccine drops for the children aged between 0-5 years in the district on Sunday.

 Door-to-door campaign by Health and Asha workers, volunteers, uninterrupted power supply, setting up of polio booths should be made for the day, he directed.  The Health department officials were present at the meeting.
