Serving the needy despite odds
Musheerabad: Caring for fellow humans is something which is found in very few people, but a 44-year-old Shahed from middle class society who sells cold drinks and ice at a small local store stands out from the crowd. This 44- year- old utilises his 50 per cent of earnings in running a tailoring training session for the needy women.
Speaking to The Hans India Shahed from Musheerabad said “I have a business of cold drinks and ice at a small shop in Musheerabad. The money I earn, half of it I utilise in helping people, as I always wanted to help the poor and needy.
I started providing tailoring training to the women who have financial problems so that they can start their own business and need not be dependent on others. Apart from training session from past 4 years I have been creating awareness about the government schemes and helps the poor in uploading their documents online free of cost”.
Shahed also added that every year he provides breakfast to the 10 class government school students. He said that during the special classes of 10 standard students come early in the morning, so during the 45 days he provides breakfast to nearly 184 students in government school.
