Students told to balance academics and sports

Musheerabad: District Educational Officer Venkatanarasamma has advised students to balance academics and sports.

She was the chief guest at the prize distribution function organised by Hyderabad District School Games Federation (HDSGF) held in Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on Wednesday. 
Speaking on the occasion, she said sports and games would enable students to gain physical and mental fitness while education helps them to achieve overall development.
 
Later, she distributed prizes among winners of various competitions. Nampally DTP Educational Officers T Ravi Kumar, CB Suresh Kumar, Organising Secretary P Sudhakar Reddy, Dr S Someshwara Rao and others were present.
